LC_S_P: Thermoformer Sign off - Basic Chocolate Bar Molds Edition - Members Only

Learn to design basic laser cut molds for Chocolate Bars with this hands-on class using free software. Students will be able to personalize the design of the molds with their favorite logo or design one of their own. Attendees will start at the computer designing the mold, then they will get instructor-led hands-on practice with the laser cutter and vacuum former equipment. Students will go through Graphics software techniques, tips, and tricks for building functional chocolate molds. Students will also receive a basic overview of easy, no-mess ways to work with chocolate.

Prerequisite: Green Orientation (if documented sign off is desired)

All materials will be provided with a mold. It is recommended for students to bring their own computer, but the classroom will provide computers as well. Students should bring an idea for the design to class and are welcome to discuss it with the instructor prior to the class.
