Why YOU should attend: Highly recommended for inexperienced metalworkers AND for who wants to get started. Get to know your stewards and the other metalworkers in your community. Ask about the next sign off classes. Get help with your projects. Ask questions.

Shop Safety: bring your OWN safety glasses and ear protection. Wear closed-toed shoes. MASK REQUIRED. Portal reservation required.

Age: Minors 16 and older with projects and questions welcome when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian

NOTE: Attending these meetups is not a substitute for the required tool sign offs. Having previous tool experience is useful but insufficient. To use shop tools independently, you must be an attendee or member with documented safety sign-off for the relevant tools. The liability waiver and sign off will be verified and enforced by the event hosts!
