WW_P: Hand Plane Restoration and Tune-Up

Even new tools can use a once over and tune up. This class will walk you through the complete restoration of a vintage or ill cared for plane. Even the most critical patients can be revived back to life. Other basic tune up steps that will be demonstrated can be used on a functional plane to improve performance. The class will concentrate on the more commonly used planes – bench and block planes, but other types of planes and their uses will be discussed. If you have a plane to tune up bring it to class, otherwise we can start to tune up the planes in the bus stop.
