MX_S02: Mixed Media Shop - Advanced Tools Sign-off

The MMX Shop is the gateway for many new members to get making right away. MMX offers a suite of light to medium duty wood tools for beginning and advanced applications. MMX Advanced tools sign-off will get you up and running on a variety of tools and also get them conscientious of tool safety.

Upon completion, makers will be able to use, on their own:

Handheld Routers
Router Sled (Slab flattening)
Angle Grinder
Power Carver
Electric Hand Planer

7” Polisher

Safety Requirements: Close toed shoes with non-synthetic uppers, non-synthetic clothing, long hair and beards need to be pulled back, safety glasses (loaners available in the shop). Hearing protection recommended (disposable ear plugs available in the shop)
