This online class will provide a start-to-finish rundown of the ShopSabre CNC router. You will then be invited to meet 1-on-1 with an instructor at Nova Labs to go over the actual machine and practice. Over one or more meetings you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your ability to use the machine and be cleared for independent use.

Prerequsite: GO

Sign off: ShopSabre CNC Safety (must test out to get the tool sign off)

*Please note that you must be a Nova Labs Associate or Key Member to complete the class and an active member to keep using the tool.*

---------------------------------------------------

The ShopSabre CNC router is an automated milling machine that can be used to cut wood, plastics, foam, and similar materials up to 55X48in wide and 7in thick. During the class, we will discuss how to operate the software and hardware needed to run this versatile machine. If you have specific projects in mind, we will have the opportunity to go over the "next steps" to get you moving in the right direction.

As mentioned above, this is the first step in getting your ShopSabre sign-off. You will then be invited to meet 1-on-1 with an instructor at Nova Labs to go over the actual machine and practice. When you can demonstrate your acumen, we will excitedly give you the sign-off that allows you to use the tool on your own.

While providing 1-on-1 attention and practice should help reduce the risks of COVID-19, it may take at least a few weeks to obtain your sign-off from the time you complete the online class. We thank you for your patience as we work through these hurdles.

Please also note that you must be a Nova Labs Associate or Key Member to complete the class and remain a paying member to keep using the tool.
