Learn to design Laser Cut Rubber Stamps with this hands-on class using free software. Students will be able to personalize their stamps with favorite designs of their own. Attendees will start in a computer classroom setting, exploring techniques to design the stamp, then they will get instructor-led hands-on practice with the laser cutter equipment (Subject to COVID restrictions).

Students will go through basic and intermediate Graphics software techniques, tips and tricks for making great-looking stamps. All materials will be provided to make your own stamp including the rubber, wood and glue.

It is recommended for students to bring their own computer, but the classroom will provide computers as well if needed (tell instructor ahead of class). Students should bring an idea for the design to class and are welcome to discuss with the instructor prior to the class. Google 'stamps' to get the ideas flowing!

Minors under 16: Parents must actively participate and supervise

Prerequisite: Laser 101 and/or 201 would be helpful.

Host Steve Fritzinger is the composites steward, woodworker, chef instructor, bread-maker, and cosplay expert. Questions about this class? email: steve.fritzinger@nova-labs.org
