AC_P: Inkscape for Crafters Demonstration

Did you know that Crafter use CNC machines too? Our embroidery machines, industrial vinyl cutter, Silhouette (paper, vinyl, fabric) cutters and the Eggbot art robot, all using CNC technology. Using Inkscape and a hand drawn design, I will demonstrate how to create a vector from an image that can be made into stickers, stencils, masks for screen printing, designs for t-shirts, decorated eggs, applique, and embroidered patches.

This is an Inkscape demonstration only, no hands-on.

Instructor: Kathy McCabe is an advanced seamstress, crafter who uses CAD, laser cutter, and many other tools in her work. She also teaches the Industrial Sewing machine class.
