MW_P: Advanced Mill and Project Class

This is the follow-on to the Mill class where the student learns how to hone their skills doing a project or make a metal sculpture. If the student wants to update their skills and doesn’t have a project in mind, there will be a few projects and materials available. If the student has a project in mind, the student and the instructor will work through the feasibility of the project and outline next steps. We suggest that the student contact the instructor prior to the class if they have a project in mind and document what they want to do, materials required and what instructor help they need.

This class is a seminar format, and the student can take the class/session numerous times to complete their project or learn something new. 

Prerequisites:
- MW_M: Metal Shop Yellow Tools Sign Off
- MW_S: Vertical Mill Sign Off
- Recent experience with Enco Mill

Let the instructor know if you need a project prior to the class and suggestions/material will be provided.

- Mandatory Safety Dress Code: Metalshop dress code enforced. Comfortable closed-toe shoes; no jewelry; no loose clothing; long pants, and hair/beard tied back. ==>DO NOT wear synthetics.

Note: Must arrive within 15 minutes of sign off class start time.
