WW_S: Planer, Jointer, Thickness Sander (Materials Prep) Sign-Off

This class, in addition to Green Orientation (GO), is required in order to use the planer, jointer, and thickness sander without supervision.

This class covers two of the most frequently used tools for any project. The jointer and planer are essential when preparing raw materials for all kinds of woodworking. Class required for everyone, regardless of experience level, and demonstrated competence is required to be certified to use the tools independently.

Prerequisite: None
Safety Dress Code: Woodshop dress code enforced. Comfortable closed-toed shoes; no loose clothing; and hair and beard tied back). Must wear a mask at all times.
