Learn basic programming with the Arduino prototyping universe! Hands-on projects will teach you introductory programming concepts like loops and multi-tasking, using Adafruit's NeoPixel light rings, illuminated encoders, and potentiometers.
We'll teach about several different types of sensors used in robotics and other electronics, along with the techniques used to code for them.
This class is also a sequel to Arduino 101. No prerequisites are required, however it is recommended that you have been introduced to basic breadboard prototyping.
Please bring your computer so we can setup the Arduino software on it! We will be using the makerspace's computers for the majority of the class.
Kits: Hardware is provided for in-class use only. If you wish to take the kit home to do the additional suggested projects, turn it into a cool wearable, or do additional projects, you may purchase it for $10.
