SO: Stories, Songs, and Shanties at the ‘Space - CANCELLED

Are you a musician or singer looking for a safe place to practice performing? Do you like listening to stories, sea shanties, and live music? Then we need you! 

Join Crystal Thurber (@crystal) and her husband Brian Bertrand (@bertrand) as either an audience member or a performer.

The way that this works, is that they do “Pick or Play”, which means that if you are a part of the circle and it is your turn, you must either pick someone you’d like to hear from, or offer a performance of your own. No skips allowed! (Don’t worry, there will be plenty of people who are willing to take one for the team!)

Cost: Free and open to the community as guests of Crystal and Brian, but registration is required. 

Safety: From 7:00 pm until 8:00 pm, all performances MUST be family friendly. NO EXCEPTIONS! Any little ones left in the audience after 8:00 get to hear all of the good bawdy stuff that happens at such events!

Other notes:

• Crystal and Brian typically bring a Crock Pot of something to share, so feel free to bring something to share as well. Just be sure to list all of the ingredients.
• Keep performances short: 5 minutes or less
