The cardboard boat building season is launching with a 3 session family/small team/children focused event. Join a small team, build as a family unit, or build as an individual. We'll provide the materials.

You'll build a small or individual vessel in two sessions. In the 3rd session, let's get together to launch the boat on a local lake, fix it if it is not "sea worthy", and have a picnic.

Session Dates: - 1pm to 4pm on Jun 11 and June 18. Launch/Picnic date for the 3rd session is TBD.

Note: This is also an opportunity to lean more about the upcoming team forming to build the cardboard Viking ship for the Reston Museum's Lake Anne Cardboard Boat Regatta that will be held at historic Lake Anne in Reston, Virginia on Saturday, August 13, 2022. Find out more here.
