Take The Cake (Please!) 

Saturday, February 25^th, from 4 pm to 8 pm.

Registration starts at 4 pm and closes at 5 pm

Judging starts at 5 pm sharp!

This event is available for current and former members, volunteers, donors, and their guests and family. Unless you are bring a cake, in which case, in which case come on over because we love foodies.

What is a cake?

A cake is “a sweet, baked, bread-like food, made with or without shortening,and usually containing flour, sugar, baking powder or soda, eggs, and liquid flavoring.” The word cake originated around 1200—50. It stems from the Old Norse kaka and is related to the German word for cake: kuchen.

We encourage folks to think about making Gluten-Free cakes and/or cakes with low-sugar or sugar substitutes so all can enjoy these sweet treats.

1. Decorating category-Best presentation (open for gluten-free/low-sugar cake)
2. Best Tasting (open for gluten-free/low-sugar cake)
3. Best Gluten-Free or low or sugar-free cake.
