WW_P: Hand Tool Sharpening

A sharp tool is a safe tool and in this class various techniques for sharpening chisel and plane blades will be demonstrated. Emphasis will be on using wet and diamond stones, with and without different honing jigs, and how to use and set up the Tormek slow speed wet stone grinder. As time permits, sharpening other tools such as the spokeshave, carving tools and hand saws will be discussed.
You are encouraged to bring a personal tool or three to try to get your own edge on. Otherwise, the instructor will provide personal or studio tools to practice with.
