CANCELED EV_P: Trash Monsters: A Scratch-Build Class on Creative Recycling

Join us for an imaginative journey into the world of creative recycling! In this hands-on course, participants will learn how to transform everyday household trash into whimsical and functional sculptures known as "Trash Monsters." Students will explore the artistic potential of discarded materials, fostering both creativity and environmental consciousness.

Participants will leave with their own Trash Monster creation and a newfound appreciation for the artistic potential within discarded materials. You'll be equipped with the skills and mindset to continue creating art from everyday objects, making a positive impact on the environment.

Participants will unleash their creativity by fashioning unique sculptures from repurposed materials, encouraging originality and self-expression; gain a deeper understanding of the significance of recycling and sustainable practices in art and everyday life through practical application; and learn to think outside the box, finding innovative ways to repurpose and combine materials to bring your Trash Monster to life.
