Bought the latest hit board game only to find it filled to the brim with beautifully sculpted, but punishingly dull grey miniatures? Are you looking to take your weekly DnD session to the next level by dropping a massive, fully painted beholder on your unsuspecting party? Does the word “Warhammer” both confuse and excite you? Or maybe you just want to try out a hobby over 2500 years old! Whatever your reason, come take Painting Miniatures 101, a beginner class with no experience and no materials required!

In this class you will learn the basic fundamental techniques of miniature painting by painting a fully paint-ready miniature along with your instructor. He will provide individual feedback and help to each student along with covering a variety of techniques including brush control, paint thinning, layering, dry brushing, and washing. At the end of the day, you will take home your first painted miniature and be buzzing with all kinds of information on how to get started on your next one! No experience, preparation or materials required.

Prerequisite: None.

Instructor: James Robertson
