Why YOU should attend: Highly recommended for members who are inexperienced CNC tool users. Get to know your stewards and the other CNC community makers. Get help with your projects. Ask questions.
Shop Safety: Highly recommend you bring your own safety glasses and ear protection. Wear closed-toed shoes. Portal reservation on this event is required because tools and space are limited.
Age: Minors 16 and older with projects and questions welcome when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian
NOTE: Unless just asking questions, attending these meetups is not a substitute for the required tool sign offs. Having previous tool experience is useful but insufficient. To use shop tools independently, you must be an attendee or member with documented safety sign-off for the relevant tools.
Suggest you message the event hosts beforehand on #cnc channel with your intentions to increase the chances of the shop being prepared for your project.
