TS_P02: Texturing and Stamping Metal Jewelry - Valentines Edition

In this special Valentine’s Day edition of Intro to Metalsmithing, you’ll use metal-working techniques such as texturing, stamping, and shaping to create a beautiful heart-shaped pendant. Learn how to use the hydraulic press to cut shapes, hammers to texturize, and stamps for personalizing a gift for your sweetie—or yourself!

All materials, including precious metals and chains, are provided. The pendant project has been chosen strategically because the metalsmithing skills you'll learn in class are considered essential basics for metal jewelry making. The techniques and tools used are designed to advance your skills but can be applied to metalsmithing other shapes and designs.
