AC_P: Mother’s Day Candle & Brunch Experience

Celebrate Mother’s Day with a creative experience you can share together.

Join us for a relaxed and social Candle Making Brunch, where you and your mom (or someone special) will create beautiful flower-shaped soy candles while enjoying light bites and drinks in a welcoming maker space.

This experience is designed to be fun, memorable, and hands-on:

•  Craft custom floral candles using silicone molds
• Blend colors with candle dyes for a soft, artistic finish
• Select from curated fragrance combinations
• Learn the basics of making soy candles with guided set

While your candles set, enjoy:

•  Brunch-style Waffle Fruit & Nut Bar & drinks (GF waffles available per request when signing up)
• A relaxed, social atmosphere perfect for celebrating together

Meet the Instructor 

Sean Hickey

Sean is a recent convert from a life as a project manager in commercial contracting to full-time maker and small business owner. As a Northern Virginia Native, he's always enjoyed working with his hands and finding connection in his community.  When he's not running his small business or volunteering at Nova Labs, he's spending time on his little farm out in Southern Maryland.
