Learn the basics of electronics and sensors by building a distance-measuring project using the HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor and Arduino Uno. You’ll learn how the sensor works (using sound waves like bats and dolphins), how to wire it correctly, and how to write simple Arduino code to read distances and trigger a buzzer.

What you’ll do:

  • Connect the HC-SR04, buzzer, and breadboard to an Arduino Uno
  • Write and run Arduino code to measure distance and detect objects
  • Build a small interactive project that responds to nearby objects
  • Your laptop (with enough space to install Arduino IDE)
  • Arduino Uno Rev3
  • Ultrasonic sensor (HC-SR04 )
  • Active buzzer (5V )
  • Breadboard (100×160 mm)
  • Jumper wires
