CC_S01: ShopSabre CNC Sign-off

This one-day, seven-hour boot camp covers safety, job setup, VCarve Pro software, and the operation of the ShopSabre CNC machine.

The class begins with a classroom session covering safety procedures and VCarve Pro software. Afterward, participants will move to the CNC Lab for hands-on training designed to help each student become familiar and comfortable with the ShopSabre and its control software.

Software: VCarve Pro

VCarve Pro will be used throughout the training and sign-off process. A demo version is available for download from the Vectric website. Please note that the demo version does not allow users to create usable toolpaths. Toolpaths must be created using the computer connected to the ShopSabre.

Sign-Off: ShopSabre CNC

Prerequisite: Participants must be 16 years of age or older.

Required Safety Clothing: Long pants and closed-toed shoes are required. Rings, watches, and bracelets are not permitted.

Important: Participants who do not meet the safety-clothing requirements or arrive more than 15 minutes late will not be eligible for a refund.
