MW_S12: Air-Over-Hydraulic 20-Ton Press Brake Sign-off

Ready to bend heavier metal?
This press brake can bend 3/16-inch-thick steel up to 19 inches wide, and plate up to 5/8 inch thick at shorter widths. It’s a great option for projects beyond the capacity of the sheet metal brake. The air-over-hydraulic system makes bending thick metal much easier.

The class begins with a review of safety and operation, followed by hands-on practice with the press brake. You’ll complete the sign-off required to use the tool.

Prerequisites: Must be 18 or older and have attended the Intro Metal Shop Basic Tools Sign Off.

Safety Clothing: Wear closed-toed shoes and safety glasses. We can supply safety glasses if needed, but cannot supply shoes. Things that present an "entanglement hazard", like long hair or dangly jewelry should be tied back or removed. Hearing protection (Optional, we have some you can use, if needed)
