Elevate your holiday cards, gift wrap, tags, and artwork with custom handmade stamps! In Japan, Hanko
(personal seals) are traditionally used to sign artwork, letters, and seasonal greetings. In this holiday edition,
you will carve your own reusable stamp.
Choose from a variety of holiday-themed templates, seasonal motifs, and auspicious Japanese Kanji
characters that convey bright wishes and good fortune for the New Year. You are also welcome to bring your
own personal sketches, logos, or name ideas!
What You Will Do:
● Learn the history and tradition behind Japanese Hanko signature seals.
● Choose from holiday design templates, auspicious Kanji, or create your own custom motif or name
design.
● Safely carve your design onto a linoleum block and mount it onto a wooden handle.
● Test your stamp using authentic red vermilion ink (Shuniku) and take home your custom seal—ready to
stamp holiday cards, gift tags, and festive wrapping paper with style
