Fabiana Cesa, Nova Labs’ resident artist and maker, will journey with your student through a series of long-term projects that involve planning, design, art, engineering, technology, and the kitchen sink! Past Makerclass projects for this age group have been: creating historical dioramas, building aerodynamic planes, designing computer games and electronic devices, binding books, and creating toolboxes and racecars out of wood. Our makerclasses are designed to introduce your child to a variety of crafts, skills, and materials, while growing their planning and executive function skills. This class inspires a love of the maker process.
We are able to offer this low price thanks to a generous grant from VELA Education Fund, a national nonprofit organization focused on out-of-system learning opportunities. Please contact us if you need further financial assistance.
